Use Bombarolo as the low-risk opener. Hold Nessuna win condition dedicata until you have identified the opponent's cleanest answer and its position in the cycle.
Defend into one counterpush
Take the efficient defence with Strega. Add Nessuna win condition dedicata only when that support survives or the opponent has just overspent; otherwise reset and keep the elixir lead.
Force the decisive connection
In double elixir, repeat Nessuna win condition dedicata faster but keep enough elixir for the deck's main spell. Cast it on the defensive answer and tower together; a spell with no push behind it does not advance the plan.
